About Us

Tree Service or Arbor Service: They are not equal.

Are you looking for someone to really care for your trees and landscape or just a hack with a chainsaw who can trim or remove your trees but does not care about your property or how your lawn looks?  You should know that there are tree services in the southwest suburbs that will do anything for a quick buck.  Tree services will only trim or remove your trees.  An arbor service, on the other hand, will do whatever is best for the overall health of your entire landscape.  Your best bet is to always get an opinion from a Certified Arborist who really cares about providing quality tree care, plant care, and lawn care and wants to build a long-term relationship with you.

It is also important to know that all Certified Arborists are not equal.  Yes, they have to pass the same test and keep up on the same continuing education units.  However, some are more focused on tree trimming while others focus more on plant care.  Asking a certified arborist the right questions will help you make the best choice.  Here are some things you should ask:

How did you get into this industry?

How long have you been doing this?

Why did you become a Certified Arborist?

Do I have other options?

What services do you provide?

Do you have referrals?

You should also ask to see their Certificate of Insurance– it should be an umbrella comprehensive plan- and check the dates to make sure they go through the following year.

ALWAYS get a written proposal or contract to protect yourself and your property.
